Formally trained at the Moscow Academy of Photography Yana brings to her work her background in fashion modelling and Art; her trained eye for lighting, movement, effective lines and natural poses; her experience as a Mum and a general sense of style and elegance.

When photographing children her rare ability to create space for the child coupled with her warm enthusiasm and intuitive approach allows her to capture the essence of each child and family.

All family photography is created on location where parents and children can relax and be themselves. That’s why Yana is happy to travel to families’ favourite locations or places which have some sentimental value.
Yana feels privileged that her work graces the walls of houses in Australia, Russia, America, Sweden, France, Majorca, Japan and, of course, many UK homes.
